Joeabout 3 years agoEncourage Imagination!
Imagination is the magic inside all of us!! Teach them to always use their imagination. This is where who we are IS! This is where our visions are born. Follow their vision, they learn to love and know themselves, and then they will succeed in all aspects of life!
3Kabout 3 years agoConflict Resolution
Through respectful dialogue, student needs to learn how to handle situations where they are faced with conflict and difficult people. They need to learn to voice their opinions, share their ideas, and have meaningful conversations to make change. They need to understand how to handle disagreements with co-workers and peers.
5Taraabout 3 years agoBasic life skills need to be brought back
A solid knowledge of basic math, financial responsibilities , home economics and history of our country both good and bad. They need to be able to look after themselves as adults and not be focusing on just university careers.
0Angelaabout 3 years agoKids need to learn to FAIL their way to success.
Understanding that failing is a part of life forever removes the negative stigmatism around failing and opens kids up to the opportunity to push until failure, which can be good.
22Sandy McNabbabout 3 years agoTo continue building a relationship with the natural world.
As technology increase along with pressures on our environment from resource extraction to climate change, our children will need to be firmly rooted with a relationship to the natural world. Financial pressure and a growing number of people in urban Centre will put pressure on Alberta’s wild spaces. It is important that students were given opportunities to interact with a natural world through outdoor and environmental education classes along side outdoor learning in the core subjects. This will ensure that our Alberta’s natural history And the recreation opportunities associated with natural spaces is preserved for generations to come.
