Thank you for participating in the High River AHS Improvement Project.  This consultation has now concluded

Since Fall 2020, local family physicians involved with the Calgary Rural Primary Care Network have been collaborating with public health and with local elementary schools and the Foothills School Division on a project related to COVID outreach. The team includes two resident physicians training in High River until April 2021, at the Charles Clark and Highwood clinics.

Thank you sincerely to all of you who completed our baseline survey in late November / early December. Your responses were key in helping guide our work over the past few months. We have conducted outreach in the High River area including: collaborating on a video sharing initial survey results and basic COVID and vaccine information, joining Spitzee, Joe Clark, and Council of School Councils meetings, and two broader community town halls (Dec 21 and Feb 22) for all in the Foothills region.

We would now like to follow up and see if your needs were met, and what questions and concerns remain outstanding. Thank you in advance for helping us identify how we can continue to work together and best support your family!

The focus of the project is quality improvement, not research. Any information collected is confidential, anonymized, and will be used for interventions to improve primary care and/or public health support of the local community, in the areas of need identified.

You can contact the resident physicians, finola.hackett@ucalgary.ca and yunan.liu@ucalgary.ca if you have specific questions or suggestions.
